As I was working on a series of writings for Reclaiming the Way, I became increasingly uncomfortable wearing a cross as an emblem of my spiritual journey. The cross and crucifix represent the worst of humanity, and Christianity has expressed these oppressive forces for many centuries.
As I prayed with this discomfort, I began to receive images that came together in the symbol that now captures the essence of Reclaiming the Way. Local jewelry designer Jordan Barnett-Parker lovingly helped me animate this dream into a wearable piece of art.
